Conservation Events

The “Living on the Land” course is being offered this winter by the University of Idaho Extension in partnership with the Ada Soil and Water Conservation District.

 

This 12-week course for small acreage landowners and dreamers will dive deep into soil fertility, water rights, water quality, pasture management, animal husbandry, pest control, and so much more.

 

The course fee is $240 which covers registration for two (2), a notebook with all course materials and resources, a soil test, and a water quality test.

 

Classes will be held at the University of Idaho Ada County Extension Office located at 5880 N Glenwood St., Boise, ID 83714.
